Natalie Sridhar
I am Natalie Sridhar (she/her), a pre-doctoral intern here at PATH and a student in Antioch University Seattle’s Psy.D. program. I am a biracial (South Asian and White), cisgender woman who grew up in a bicultural household with one immigrant parent. I have 8 years of experience in mental health, including 3 years of clinical training in community, inpatient, and university-based counseling settings. I’ve provided group, family, and individual therapy and assessment to adults and youth from diverse backgrounds.
I believe we are all inherently worthy and doing our best to get through life’s challenges. I appreciate the tenacity and courage it takes to find your way to a clinician that is the right fit for you. My approach centers on our relationship and the cultures and context we each bring to it. I work to earn your trust and create a space where we can both be ourselves. I am a liberation-oriented clinician. If it feels helpful to you, we can look at how racism, homophobia, ableism, classism, sexism, and xenophobia may affect your life, and how they can leave you carrying shame that was never yours. Together, we will work to identify your goals and values, develop insights, strengthen your relationships, and create meaning and change you want to see in your life.
Outside of professional contexts, I enjoy melting into the couch/resting (shout out Tricia Hersey), quality time with friends and family, poetry, gardening, riding bikes, and reading diaspora fiction and cultural commentary.
We heal in community; I would be honored to meet you and, if it feels right, to be part of yours.
